O evento Lumiere - Festival de Luzes

onde você pode achar espalhadas pela cidade

coisas inusitadas como uma gangorra-lanterna, 

um banco de praça convertido em um banco iluminado

 e uma cortina de luzes em plena praça pública...

The Lumiere event - light festival
where you can find spread all over the city unusual 

things as a seesaw lantern, a bench converted into a lighting bench and 

a lighting curtain in the middle of a public garden ...

O hospital de St. Cross é uma construção medieval, e o mais antigo instituto de caridade em funcionamento no Reino Unido. Fundado entre 1132 e 1136.

The St Cross hospital is a medieval building, and the oldest surviving charitable institution in the UK. Founded about 1132 and 1136. 

The hospital still provides home for 25 elderly men, know as "The Brothers". 

There is a small museum explaining a little about the building. 

O Hospital ainda abriga 25 senhores, conhecidos como "Os irmãos".

Existe um pequeno museo que explica um pouco sobre a construção. 

O tamanho das construções seguem as proporções das escolas de Oxford e Cambridge, entretanto o hospital é muito mais antigo que as escolas. 

Was built in the scale of Oxford and Cambridge Colleges, although it's older than any of the Colleges.
